Greetings;

I am Kurt Strecker, and owned Viva Bronco's, San Diego, CA. in the old days . At beginning!

My wife and I hand laid some of the first Bronco fender flares and plastic hoods in the market.

circa 1969... We sold to Stroppe and Duffy. I had a small assembly line and produced a Viva Bronco roadster for street/offroad consumption for 8 years. We got to as many as 11 in a month. They are out in the country and I get emails from owner wanting info on their production and authenticity.

I had posted on your forum some info but was sailing around the world and unable to get my junk out of storage. I'm landed in Gold Canyon, Arizona and willing to share any history of the old hoss I can.

Visa Vi.

Big Ol' Parnelli

Bill Stroppe, Signal Hills

NORRA old days racing

Score and Mickey and Sal, at the beginning.

Over 20,000 miles up and down the Baja.

At one time we had more cars running Baja then Stroppe and Duffy, Fairway Ford combined.

DAVE DEAL, THE ORIGINAL Big Deal cartoonist hand drew our entire Bronco catalog and put us on the cover of Cartoon magazine, with Harry Jackman, Mears, etc..

Have scanned some stuff that might be of interest to your readers.

I was contacted by some magazine editors to do a story but lost their contact info.

Sounds like interesting history, start at the beginning and tell us the whole story. If you need help with pics let us know.

Welcome to CB by the way!

I can't wait to see and hear more! And I would bet that someone from Bronco Driver magazine will be in touch with you before too long... ;D

Kurt , great to see you back on here. Glad you landed and am excited to talk to you. Sent a couple PMs a couple years back about the Harris' old racer he said he remembered selling to you. Would love to know more about that Bronco, the Stud.
Anyway, welcome back.

Welcome to the site! Wow what a great history with your broncos. I would love to see the art work done by Dave (Big) Deal. I was lucky enough to purchase a couple pieces of Dave's work several years ago. Thanks for taking the time to post up.
