I'm in too!

I'll be in Carlisle Saturday & Sunday but will probably not make it to the following weekend's activities :(

edit.... PS: another interesting stop while you're in Hershey might be the Antique Automobile Museum. In case you need another filler activity.

Great idea Jason!

I've been meaning to get over there to see that for a couple years now since they opened it. I hear it is very well done.

For those who do not know, Hershey, PA is the headquartes for the Antique Automobile Club of America.

...which I joined in 1974. Guess that makes me an antique too. ;D That would be a great option to add to the list of activities.

Thanks! I went there in 2004 and was fortunate enough to see thier Ford Mustang display, I suppose because of the Mustang 40th that year. Anyhow, it is a very nice place and they have quite a few vehicles on display.

Carlisle will be lots of fun and is an amazing event so I encourage all who can possibly attend both to do so.

However, if I had to pick one over the other, I would pick the 40th events on the 9th-11th at Paragon and Red Ridge Lake Campground since it will be 100% Bronco specific.

Yes, Hershy Park is alredy on the Participant Survey as one of the Mid-Week Family activities, so the AACA Museum will be perfect!

Hersheypark is a good time! A bit pricy unless you plan to spend the day there. For anyone that is interested in acceleration, I highly recommend taking a trip or two on Storm Runner. ;D

Nick- go to mapquest.com and get an idea where the place is and mapquest has hotel motel listing for that area. You can call around, reserve a room. I use mapquest all the time and those listings come in handy. I stay at comfort inn when ever I can because they don't have any problems with my big dogs. Last year I walked into the lobby with two and they didn't even flintch. Rooms are clean and are well under $100 per night even with the dogs. My wife got a small dicsount and I " think " we paid around $65 with the dog charge added in. :)

I have not gotten any room rates yet, but to be honest I would not expect them to be any bargains at least over the weekend of All-Ford since the NSRA East Coast Nats is also going on, there will be higher rates if anything.

During the week the prices will likely drop back down, however we may be headquartering midweek activites out of a private campground near Hamburg, PA on Monday night, Tuesday night and Wednesday night.

It's not the closest for some of the activities, BUT, it is owned by EB owners who will give us a big welcome, PLUS they have some great trails on the campground property! It is still driveable to York, Gettysburg, etc. But will add about an hour or so. Hershey is not too far from them. There are also some hotels near that campground for those who may want to socialze around the campfire but then head to a Hotel.

I'll work up some lodging info with some numbers, distances between events, etc......stay tuned.
