Leaf Spring Center Bolt Question

diy 4x4 makes the ez inch. It kinda does the same thing, but nets a 1" lift.

I just did this myself, but i went for 1.5" set back, and I ended up making the holes a lil too big on my perches.

Is anyone here particularly against redrilling the leaf pack for a larger centering pin? As i have the smallest size pin available, and it doesnt exactly "center". Didnt relize i had done this till after the fact- i just made the holes the same size as the factory perch hole, then saw that the centering pin that fits the leaf pack has a much smaller head then the origional centering hole as well.

I like to play things safe as well, and support your decision to move to the SHCS. Ruffstuff has some "rough-stuff"

I re-drilled my old Duff leaf packs.
Put WH 7/16" center bolts in them.
I needed to do it so I could use their 6° shims.
Bkn is right about the concrete bit.

I cannot think of a single drawback to this other than it is kind of a bitch to do but most worthwhile things are.
