Leaf Spring Install Question

Could be the dumbest question of the day. I'll give it a shot...
I just bought some 2 1/2" lift springs.
Which end goes forward? One end is a single wrap eye, the other is a double wrap....
I'm guessing the double wrap goes toward the rear.
Feeling a little dumb right about now.
