Leaf spring install

Installing new leafs in my 66 half cab with 2.5 blocks. Is there a sequence to the install? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I would think shock, u-bolts, spring. If your new leafs have a curved end, that goes to the rear.

I just finished putting a 2.5" suspension lift on mine and when I did the rear I went leaf and shackle, u-bolts, shock. For the leaf spring, I installed the front bolt, then rear, then pushed the shackle into the bracket and did that bolt last. I had no issues with that order.

Sorry, I thought it would be obvious, the above was meant for dis-assembly, of course for re-assembly the order would be reversed.

Don't forget to check the torque on the U Bolts after 100 miles or so. Particularly if they're new.
