We stepped our photo game at the Texas Round Up this year and had 2 professional photographers, RJ Lake and Stetson Emery, attend and take photos of all activities and all different trail levels. In the past we have relied upon RU participants to take and submit pics. We usually got a hodge-podge of photos of various qualities and usually many of the trail levels and groups were not represented. These have been posted on Facebook for a while now but for those of you that do not FB we have posted them to the LEBC website HERE. There are almost 300 pics and the quality is excellent.

Here's a few examples:

I think they are planning on it. Gordon has been in touch with them. They liked the event so much they are looking to get an early Bronco.

If you look really close, it's in the middle right of this pic. Monster Mike is backing it up to a position on the rocks for the group photo!

These are just RJ's photos. I'll see if Stetson can post his as well on our site. Stetson actually got more pics of mine. Between the 2 of them they shot over 4000 pics! They both had a great time and are making some money by selling high quality framable photos. They can even have them printed on pallet wood for a very cool effect.

They knew nothing about our event when they agreed to take photos. We didn't pay them and they let us have and use the pics at no cost to us. We let them sell any photos to participants who want them. It's a win-win. But they had a blast and were really stoked by the end - enough so that they want to get a Bronco and want to come back to our event and go to other events. So we may see them at OCBR. Their equipment makes all the difference. A lot better than my iPhone shots! LOL

My uncle is a professional photographer. (recently did some personal work for Eddie Gossage.) I showed him a few of this, and his comment was, "WOW. That's some really good processing." A decent picture taker can get some good shots. A good photographer knows how to use his tools and experience to enhance them.

I was looking at some old pics last night when Crew objected to one. I asked what was wrong with it. He said he was asleep in that pic. Sure enough, I've never realized he was in the passenger seat that year. I think it was one that made the mag cut.
