We had a great time, it was good to see familiar faces again, and meet new folks. We especially enjoy meeting people in person I know only from the LEBC club news or CB.com

Thanks to the LEBC crew who always do a great job, and who work overtime to put this together. And special thanks to the gracious generosity of the vendors who support the Bronco events.

Both of the street cruise routes were great, and took us to locations we would likely never see otherwise.

Some funny stuff: An overpriced rusty clutch, boys with a snake

Kerri, it was great that you and your friend could make the event this year. Good to finally meet you.

Kerri took home 2 trophies! Her Bronco won the Show 'N Shine Stock Class and she got the Iron Butt award (sponsored by OCB) for farthest driven Bronco to the event!

We had a great time also, so glad to have met you Kerri. Now you can say that you drive an award winning Bronco! Be safe, hope to see you next year!

Good to see you both again this year!

I did get some low-ball offers on the clutch - but I know what Broncos and Bronco parts are worth! I think I'll eBay it . . .

I recognize a brown 69' in pic one and two, and a green 68' in all three :)

There were quite a few Broncos in attendance that were at OCBR last September too.

We had a very successful event this year - no injuries I'm aware of, more than 250 people in attendance (and our kid count at 65 keeps growing!), and lots of Vendor support. Big thanks to Jake from Tom's Bronco Parts for coming all the way from Oregon to attend and to Tom and Donna with Bronco Driver Magazine who drove from Knoxville! But BC Broncos may have actually driven the most miles get to the event - they made at least 4 trips to get 4 Broncos, the RTI ramp and their RV's from Kerrville to Mason! So big thanks to Jason, Gretchen and Chuck for the huge effort!

Next year is the 50th so we're going to try to add another day to the event. It should be bigger and better next year!

Unfortunately I did not get to take too many pics but here are a few. On Friday we had a street cruise to the Mason Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) where we ate lunch, watched a presentation and had a "hayride" style tour of the facility. Very interesting. Many ranches in the past have imported exotic game animals and these animal have escaped the original ranches they were brought to. There are several species which are critically endangered in their natural habitat but which are thriving in Texas. The WMA studies the impact of these introduced species to the native Texas habitat. Anyway, most of my pics are from the street cruise.

It was a fun weekend, my girls and I had a blast. My daughter won a trophy for outstanding youth and can't stop smiling. We're so proud of her. Thanks to all the people who organized this event, I know its alot of work. Can't wait to do it again.

Brian,

Yeah, sorry you missed it. It was interesting and the hayride was fun! They do some good work at the WMA. Also the lunch was much more pleasant. If you still recall the "aroma" from the bat cave during last year's lunch and presentation!

We look for interesting local destinations for the street cruises - places where most people might never visit otherwise.
