i have noticed pics of the rear 9 incher where the spring mounts do not have the lift block/ bump stop bracket. i was wondering if this stock or something the po added. it installs between the spring and the axle pads. like i stated it serves dual purpose. around 2" of lift and serves as a bump stop. when i ordered a lift kit the u bolts were too short. i got longer u-bolts but i do not know if this is stock or not. does anyone else have this and is it stock?

Doesnt sound stock to me. The factory bumpstop mounted up on the frame, cant remember if it hits the top of the spring or the housing ?:? From the factory the springs sat right on the axle pad. The setup youre talking about sounds like whats on my Toy pickup stock. Got a pic??

It's not stock. As mentioned above the EB didn't have any blocks. They provide a third purpose as well. They add leverage to the axle to increase spring wrap. (Acutally this is a negative side effect rather than a benefit)
