limited slip clutches

dad was getting ready to put his new clutches into his limited slip front diff and found that what they'd sent him WAY back when he bought them was just steel. Is this what they consider clutches??? Or should he be looking for something else lost in the rubble of his shop?

I'm sure you inspected every disc to be sure and have counted the number. Possible they messed up the order or you need to keep looking.

Typical clutch friction material provided by Spicer for the Dana 44 front power lok is the 22233x and they are steel.

Some replacement clutches are made from fibrous materials.
