Good morning folks,
As the title suggests, I am in a sticky situation with some parts I’ve recently bought off of FB. These were all “must have” items that unfortunately weren’t close to me here in GA. I’ve paid all the sellers and they agreed to hold them till I could coordinate trips to pick them up, but they are blowing up my phone wanting to know when I’m coming. One item (a bumper) is in Mt. Airy NC and the other (a roll bar) is in Lancaster KY. I am building a project with my son and it is really important we get these for the build.

Any one able to help me out would be really doing me a favor. I have to get them to Atlanta GA, but knowing they are secure with someone till I can figure all that out would be great. Text me at (404) 316-8690 if it’s something you might help with. Thanks! Mac

Anyone in the Mt. Airy NC area? I have a member who is willing to help me in KY, but the guy I bought the bumper from in NC is wigging out on me to get it picked up now that he has his money. The UPS Store in Mt. Airy will mail it to me if it is dropped off there. They will package and ship it, but this guy isn't willing to drop it off for me (I had to mail a check because he wouldn't take any other form of payment. Any help to pick it up and drop it at UPS would be amazing. I could pay you for the pick-up and drop-off. Thanks, Mac

Try calling a UPS store in that area and see if they offer a courier service that they can pick up the parts and ship them to you. I was bidding on some items in an auction last month that was not local to me. The auction company told me UPS offers courier service in most areas and they can arrange pickup. I spoke with UPS and they only charged $25 fee to pick up the parts I bought. then I paid the fee for them to box and ship the parts to me.

Great suggestion, but the rinky dink UPS Store told me that they could do it if he brings it in, BUT, they won’t take payment over the phone! The seller didn’t have any form of electronic payment and I had to mail him a check. He said he is not willing to wait on another check, have to go cash it and then take the bumper to the store and pay them. I don’t want to piss him off any more than I have to because I need this bumper and I got it for a steal. The UPS store not taking payment on the phone sucks in this situation.

Can you create an online account with UPS, have the store charge your account, and pay the bill on line?
This was a great idea, but UPS will only let me pay for the actual shipping online. The require any packaging/packing to be paid in-store only. It is so screwup.

Thanks Jeff, but this yahoo is fight me about taking it 2 miles to the UPS Store. I tried to talk him in to Fastenal to ship, but the said he would have to provide a pallet and straps. He said absolutely not. I hate being so far from things we buy.
