No need to change the shocks unless there bad or you plan on going fast! As for rear ends put in soft lockers and point the Bronco in any direction and it will go.

Better change the header name of the post or few will answer your question.

New to the 4X4 world, 5.5 lift, axle and locker upgrade.Drive over stuff..to be honest and don't take this the wrong way, sounds like a recipe for disaster. Slow your roll before you do..

Your profile doesn’t show where you are from, I’d try to meet up with some local EB guys, you can see what they run, and what set up is best for your area.

Well. Not new. My knowledge of the workings of 4x4 is not the greatest. But I have had many 4x4 vehicles. Just not a old one that required so much work to get going. My James duff suspension has been only truck for a year. But I was able to find a company close by that is good to help out. Motobilt.com. I usually spend my time messing with fast cars. As my daily is a 1000 whp GTR. So this has been a leading experience. I go offroad a lot. And just not happy with how the bronco does. She goes under the knife soon. After the first of the year. And the drive over stuff is just a funny comment, not to be taken so seriously. And I am in pensacola. Thanks for the help

If you want a dependable off roader, go with the Duff setup you have. If you have an unlimited budget, love bling and love to spend cash, drop it off with a pro and go with coilovers and a link setup. Detroit or Yukon Grizzly is hard to beat for a rear locker. Remember, High Performance = High Maintenance.
