I got my 40 amp pilot arc hooked up to 220 today and I have cut everything I could find. It is amazing how clean this thing cuts and how easy it is to use. I had some 1/4 plate laying around that I started it with. I set the cutter on about 35 amps and it cut so fast and smooth. No slag left behind at all. I then cut some 1/8 plate on my brother mower. Both these plates I was cutting were painted and it does not make a difference on them starting cutting. I tried to get some good pictures but they did not turn out to well cause I could not get the camera to focus on the cut. Here they are anyways. Remeber that these were cuts made with in about 10 minutes of having it. Just thought I would share.

got mine Saturday (only 3 or 4 days after I order it) and was able to cut some things for fun. Pics of old door hinges 3/8 thick. It cut them very easy in just seconds. Now I just need practice on getting my cuts straighter.

Got my 40D pilot arc wired 220V and boy does it make a difference over 110V! It managed to cut through ~3/8" Aluminum without much trouble.
