I am going to look at a 74 in the morning. Truck is not complete , it is a stalled project that just needs to be "gone." Sounds like it may have a good tub so I am hopeful. We will see.

Well I will never understand the phrase "decent tub" "Not too much rust" "better than the one I drive" "surface rust" Some rust in the "usual spots". Or the best one "Just needs floors"
Well needless to say the tub was total crap. Nothing on it was good. not a thing.

No pictures, I did not even break out the camera. he did have a few parts in his garage that I picked up on. So now I have more bronco stuff. Not sure I needed that but I had to make the trip worth something. I got a grill and a left front fender and 2 tailgates, all crap. I got some old school flares and oil pan a 3 speed floor shifter kit. I got an old school roll bar a dash pad and a dash. I got a new windshield gasket for the glass and the lower seal. I got a drivers door, not real pretty. 2 wiper motor covers, 1 set of windshield visors. Like i need more of this crap around my shop! I did score a set of new seat covers, white, they are nice but they did not make it home. I stopped off a Darien's (OhPoo's) house to give him the flares and he snapped them up. I offered the roll bar to Smokeater but he said no. The best for last. I did score a brand new soft top. It's still in it's wrapping Darien and I unwrapped it, it is a SCT top. white or parchment, we both could not tell the difference. I also don't need a soft top. But I got it and that makes me the winner.

never go look at a ''decent tub"

PM me on the soft top of your looking to sell for it for a decent price. I also need a wiper motor cover(black or parchment), and if the visors are mint I may be interested as well mine are a little dingy.

At least you came home with something. The one I looked at this morning was the same deal, not a usable part on it. I wouldn't have hauled it home if he gave it to me.
