Too much power? Is there such a thing :)

Too much is not enough!!!

Sometimes there is. Our trucks are not drag racers running the 1/4 mile (well atleast mine isn't). I am a huge fan of "there is never to much horsepower" but it has to be applied to the right application. :)

These guys are local to me & I'm looking at engine options so I'm very interested to hear about how this baby works out. Also, and sorry if I missed this in an earlier post, but how much did they bore it & grind the crank? Standard .030" over/ .010" under?

don't know what the bore and grind is. we're trying to finish up as we speak and get it fired up. got a little issue with the milodon pan and JBA headers...

The cam might be a little big for a bronco pumping that much power out of a 302 takes a pretty good cam. Might not have much for lowend.

oh i'm sure it won't. he was told by the engine builder to run a 2500 stall converter, that tells me it's all upper end! the cam is .512 lift, 230 duration @50.

Ben,

You weren't kidding on how nice the engine bay looks.

I will have to rethink mine when we pull the engine. :)
