John,

I am building a 66 Roadster very similar to yours. (Uncut, 6-Cylinder almost all original) I will be installing a 1 1/2" Suspension lift with 31x10.50 Tires on 15x7" Steel Wheels with 4" Backspacing. (Wheel Vintiques) The Original 66 Hub Caps fit perfect on these wheels!

If I had your truck, I would mount the same size tires and wheels with your 2 1/2" lift that you already have with No Body Lift. It would look very sharp.

For my 74, I am still waiting on some F100 wheels; 16x6 with 3.75” backspace. But I also found some 16x7 with 4.00” backspace. My truck is uncut with a 2.5” suspension lift. The end goal will be 32x9.50 tires. Anyone have any advice? Wait on the first ones or grab the second with .25 wider backspace, but also are an inch wider? Am I splitting hairs??? Thanks, all!!!!

Just my opinion, but with 4.5 inches of lift and 31” tires there’s too much gap in the front wheel wells - the tires don’t fill the well enough and look too small. 2.5” suspension and 1” body lift is about perfect for 31s.

32x10 KM3's on stock (I think) 15 inch wheels. 3-1/2" suspension lift, no body lift, no rubbing but haven't wheeled it much.
