I am looking for some new shifter knobs and was wondering if anyone has
the Wild Horses Knobs. Are they of good Quality and does the painted engraving hold up. Would like some simalar but maybe without the WH logo.

I just "installed" (yeah, that was my big tech project this week ;) ) a set of WH shifter knobs. The quality is fine. The shift pattern is not engraved. It's a plastic insert that sticks to a recess in the shifter knob. The only potential problem I see is scratching/hazing the clear plastic surface of the shift pattern. I'll just have to wait and see on that one.

I bought the WH shofter knob for my 3-speed and transfer case shifter. The knobs are OK. They have a clear plastic top cover inset into the top of the knob. The specific shifter "directions" are a label that is set underneath the clear plastic. The best thing I can say about them is that now both knobs match. They've held up fine, but I don't really drive the Bronco all that much, and it's in the garage when not being driven.

After I installed my twin stick and NV3550 I wanted matching shift knobs with a touch "period-correctness". I ordered a 1-7/8" for the tranny and 1-5/8" for the transfer case shifters from this company:

http://www.epcomfg.com/shiftknobs-engraved-8ball-pushbutton.html#engraved

I was able to get the correct pattern for the tranny, but not for the transfer case. I found a local trophy/engraving shop that regularly engraves billiard balls and could easily engrave the proper L-N-H/FRONT/REAR pattern for the transfer case shift knobs using the same typeface as the tranny knob.

I really like the quality of these knobs, they're not plastic, have no seams and are truly engraved, not screen printed. I replaced the WH twin stick knobs and found that over time the rubber finish attracts dirt and grease and the stick-on pattern thingy stops looking so great.

I'll post some pictures later today.

Here are the pictures of the engraved tranny and trasfer case shift knobs I've got in my Bronco.
