looking for steering column measurements

I have a 77 bronco with stock automatic column with a 2" body lift and I have a forever sharp wheel and 2" adapter installed. I am looking to put a quick release steering wheel on to ease of getting out with door inserts. the quick release kit I'm looking at would bolt to the forever sharp 2" adapter and then bolt to the forever sharp wheel, making the wheel about 2" inches closer to me.
I am looking for measurements of other stock column to make sure mine is installed correctly as far as how far it extends toward the driver.
these are my measeurements
measuring from under the column to the dash are
7" to where the 1st break in column where it starts to get thicker
9 3/4" to the next break
11 1/4 " to the end of factory column to where the aftermarket adapters start
16" to the wheel
I'm not sure if body lift makes any difference or if column could be in towards front bumper and maybe a steering shaft could be shortened.

thanks for any help
