I've been trying to figure out pricing to list my tranny on Craigslist. I can seem to find any listing on Craigslist so in curious what price I should put on it. It's the original untouched c4 from my 74 sport. Has the tq convertor with it. Was thinking about throwing in the column too. I found a 5 speed 93 f150 for only $250.

The c4 has 74k miles on it and it works perfect. I was hoping for $350 but I can't find anything to base my price on. I see newly rebuilt ones going for $750-$1000 but mines not rebuilt. Any advice? And I do have it listed in the for sale section here but I just listed it as a trade

Ok. I didn't think of the pedal assembly and stuff. Sounds like my $350 is a little low. What was tge condition of your tranny? Rebuilt or original mileage

If they see it running it is worth more a know runner is worth about the $450 mentioned. If not you can grab them at the junkyard for $100-$200 all day long, but and this is a big but, you will be hard pressed to find one in the junk yard with a D-20 adapter for that price. If you are selling the adapter with it, it is worth more.

I paid $400 for a 74 EB core and bell housing less the intermediate shaft and housing. I looked for genuine EB core for a while and could only find them in far away places where freight would kill the deal. Luckily I found this one locally on CL and saved the freight.

I'm still researching my swap but I'm pretty sure the tail housing and flex plate aren't useable right? I'm going with the Mazda 5spd. Mo5d. Don't want to get rid of something I may need

I mentioned that the C4 I bought was less the intermediate shaft and housing, well I ended up having to buy one and it cost $150. So, if you are talking about including these parts you could get $6-700 if you found someone like me who needed the stuff!

C4 Flex plate and tail housing cant be used with a M5OD or any manual transmission. Id say your C4 is probably in the $350-600 range. a auto column in the package sweetens it up so Id hold out on the higher side. But used is used. In any case it should be rebuilt before installing. Most seem to sell in the $400 range.

I bought one for $250.00 a while back. Even had the 20 still attached. plus it had been rebuilt and never run since the rebuild. So it was my buy of the year for this year. It's worth what you can get for it.

Hopefully enough to cover the whole swap. Looks like I need a flex plate and an adapter to use my d20

Should probably do a new thread but the donor is a 93 f150 I believe with a 4.2l. Can I use the starter and flywheel off that?
