Found one last weekend with 88 miles. Absolutely not for sale at any price...believe me I tried. Has anyone found lower?

Bronco Driver had an article, quite awhile back, on one that was bricked up into an area where nobody knew it was there. I believe it's mileage was less than 1600 miles....

.. The man here in our town that owned the Ford House here for years.. He sold out but he's a big Bronco fan.. He says he know where many are that he sold during the days. But he want tell. He came home with one from a barn about 5 years ago ... It was not supposed to have but 10 K ON it .. & It was sweet .. Rangoon & white top. I guess he's up about 75+ now I've not seen him in as along time.
... I NEED TO CHECK ON HIM.

May I ask how one CONFIRMS the actual mileage?? Would you need to compare odometer to title mileage (in Ohio at least, it has the odometer reading on the transferred title - not necessarily verified by DMV).

Curious.

THANKS, Pops

Didn't have my phone with me at the time.. But this is at a dealership south of here. Story goes that it has sat on the showroom floor since new, when the dealership folded in the '80's the son took this bronco and a few other pieces and moved them to another showroom floor, still there today. I'll try to get pictures if he'll let me take some. He's very "secretive" about it and was reluctant to even talk about it. Doesn't want the attention I guess.

Elmer was at 14,890 miles when we bought him. That's pretty good for a Minnesota find. The po drove him to his favorite trout fishing holes in the summer and moth balled him during the winter.

I have friend that keeps telling me there is a Ford dealer in MS that has one of every year produced and that some if not all have only the miles it took to drive them to his warehouse. I haven't been able to confirm it yet. He is supposed to take me to see them when we get time while I'm in MS. This guy has been known to exaggerate things. I hope he's not because I would love to see 11 "new" Bronco's sitting in one spot!

I remember seeing one on ebay about 5 years ago that had less than 100 miles on it. I don't recall the price but the story sounds similar to the one with the 88 miles on it. I remember the add said something about if it wasn't sold, it was going back into storage/ display and would never be offered again. They offered it as a once in a life time deal, which it probably was. I also remember the auction closing and I don't think anyone got it.
