Maaco paint jobs ????

I rolled the dice at Maaco and am fine with the results. I got a few referrals first then did all the prep work on the tub and brought it to them in pieces. No taping required just dip it in the paint.
I also told them I did not want a $300 paint job and was willing to pay for it. Cost me $2600 for a two stage metallic base and clear and is holding up fine.

It was hard for me to find a local shop that would take it on so this is why I wound up at Maaco. I also did not want a $4,000 or $5,000 paint job for a truck I was going to actually drive/wheel.

My mother took a cheep car to the same shop right after my truck was painted. She told them to keep the price as low as they can because the car was only worth a few hundred. They fixed it but her licence plate now has a nice overspray fade accross it. You get what you pay for.
