Scored a set of 2004 Mach I seats this week. Anyone use these? Any tips or tricks on installing? Pictures? I might try to do these this weekend, time permitting.

Measure height and width and whether you are using a center console or not. If they are within your goals, Fab brackets to get it to work. Sliders are in the seats on those I believe.

With many of these modern seats, they sit really far off the floor. You may be chopping the floor out to get the seat height correct.

/\/\ This is true.
Most modern seats are power seats and the electric motor in the base means they cannot be as low as a manual seat, every late model Mustang I have found in a junkyard has power seats.

Yes, it would be interesting if you measured them base to top and posted the difference between those and stock buckets with the base brackets s on them. how you fab the floor brackets versus how the originals are and how high you want to sit is the key. Measure and let us know what you find.

I used 2005 Mustang seats which are probable identical. They sit low to the floor but you need to use the sliders as the mounts
