Is anyone running the stainless Magnaflow dual 2 1/2" to single 3" outlet muffler? I just bought one on the extreme cheap and before I spend money on stainless tubing and start tig welding I was hoping someone had a sound clip.

Even if you have no sound clip but can let me know what you think I'll take it.

Thanks!

Nothing showed up! I think the site may have stripped off the link?

Those both sound really nice. Too loud for me, but super sweet tone.

A '93 F150 SuperCab long bed, 5.8 with single 2.5 in and out is too loud for my tastes too.
Has a bit of drone even though the muffler is under the bed and the tip all the way out the back corner!
I'm sure if the cab was better insulated it would not be as annoying, and I didn't think MagnaFlows were known for drone, but this setup has it.

I've had the Magnaflow on one of my Broncos before (347). I chose one with the longest case they make. I think there were 3 case lengths to choose from? 2-into-1 and stock location exhaust exit. Great tone, much quieter than the shorter case Magnaflows. Still too loud in the cab for me, drone included.

I have a BCB kit with one on my 69. Seems better in top down summer cruiser mode. Loud pipes save lives.

Did this on mine last year. I love it and do not miss the long tube/flowmaster combo at all.

Thanks guys these sound clips helped me a lot! I like the sound so I am going to dive in and build a custom exhaust (again). I like the growl to it!

I should have put an * beside my video. Currently my exhaust dumps out right by the muffler. Will be correcting that to behind the passenger rear wheel, but that's lower on my list.

The BCB kit dumped down in front of the axle. It had exhaust smell with the top down. I had a local shop make a 3” tailpipe with 90 degree exit behind the rear wheel. Better.

I used the Cherry Bomb Vortex muffler in the 2-1 exhaust on my 78. Very similar muffler to Magnaflow I was told..good bit cheaper.

The single 3” tailpipe exits in stock location, pass side rear quarter.

Has a very pronounced drone right at 55-60 mph...sounds excellent otherwise.

I have the magnaflow 2-1 setup which dumps behind the rear tire. Not loud at all until I get on it.

I recently met a bronco brother who had the same setup and didn't quite like the sound, so he added a resonator in front of the turn out behind the tire. Really sounded nice and quieted the exhaust down a bit more.

Thanks for the follow up with the exhaust extension. I'll run it all the way to the bumper and turn it to the outside. Less sound and no fumes.
