Man I took my Bronco to town this morning to go to coffee with Running Buddy . So I went by my work no one there had seen my Bronco but several had ask to see it.. So the 2 hotrodders was there. They both wanted a ride . So I took the 1st one for a spin and it broke the tires loose .. Without really trying ..Really surprised me about as much as him.. Next one got in so I shifted a little hard into 3 and got a good chirp.. And spewed out a lot of black smoke .. He could believe how smooth it was at 50 mph.
......
... Then I had to go over to other side of town ..They were having a car wash of VBS.. So I whipped in and got a hand scrub . They did and OK job. So I had to leave several big puffs of Black Coal Smoke through town..Man wish one of my grand sons had been with me.
.......O I wonder what the poor folks are doing for FUN.

What transmission are you running? I seriously looked at doing the 4BT conversion but the cost of running an automatic was just too fricken expensive.

What kind of mileage are you getting. Not that it matters :)

I already had my NP435 IN THE Bronco and running so I stuck with it.. I don't like to have 12 new items at once I like to know I only put this one item in so this is where my shake is.
... Now having said that I do have the dodge bell housing, flywheel, the 5 speed NV4500 but it has to have some work done inside it 750.00 then I don't have the adapter to go to my dana 20.. 600.00 and if you had this set up would you really still want the dana 20. I have the trans to drive shaft yoke but I'd have to build a new drive shaft. 200.00 Then I'D NEED a clutch 350.00. and about 6 months of down time for me.. Hey mine is running just fine..
.... I've got 3:55 gears stock locker in the back and a stock locker bought for the front but again I don't want any more down time .. Been there done that.

I forgot to say When I took it to town today ... With the front axle still locked up.. As they always are on the farm.. But when I filled up I got 14.4 mpg not to shaby in my opinion ... About half in low range due to being n the farm and Idling around the cows. Mine just operates better in 3 gear low range . while in the pasture.. 3rd low range is not as fast as 2nd in high range. .. So most of my time I'm in low side of the transfer case.
...... Now tonight Taco & I went for a spin on the county road and we use High Range..
