Not exactly the setup you are asking about, but I am running four wheel discs without any kind of booster. However, the M/C I am using came from a Lincoln with hydroboost - just bolted directly to the Bronco firewall in the stock location.

I was running 4 wheel disc w/the 70's camper special m/c and 37's. Still took a lot of effort to stop. Added the superduty hydroboost. The difference is like night and day. Adding the HB was easier than I thought it would be. You probably want to put the HB on the "To Do List".

Manual front discs only, but still loving life. Original '71 type master cylinder with removed RPCV and stops on a dime.
Going to rear discs soon, but not sure which master I'll use yet. Expect the existing one to be a bit more soft pedaled, but will wait till after the swap to replace if needed.
Staying with manual unless there is just no other option.

I still don't have all the air out of the system - I think in need to bench bleed the M/C again, but even with the air it seems to stop better than the old four wheel drums did. The lincoln M/C is massive and moves a ton of fluid. I've also got the larger T-Bird calipers up front.

I'm running four wheel disc on the LUBER. Fords up front with the larger Lincoln calipers and Explorer disc out back. I'm running a master cyl from a Dodge truck and like the manual set up a lot. I have a Super Duty hydro booster set up for it but with the 33" tires it stops on a dime.
