I'll miss Mark alot - whether seeing him on 101 heading to his parents(Can't miss a sweet Stroppe cruising 60mph with 4.11s on a CA freeway), in Tahoe, and ESPECIALLY at Fab Fords(stereo high, all smiles, laughs and 4 or 5 people gathered around at all times) or just jabbering with him on the line at WH. My sympathies to his family, Jim, and the WH crew.

It was not but last week I was sorting through some old very old emails from about 5 or so years ago when I found some reguarding orders I had placed at WH it was mark writing me and help coordinate the purchase because I was in IRAQ! if I had only known that this was going to be such a special person I would have taken more time just to talk to him over these last few years. Mark truly was a friend to broncos and a bigger friend to man. It seems like it was yesterday I was telling him to hurry up and get better so he could come stay at my house and revel in all the glory he earned wor working hard to give me great service and work cheaper shipping for the members of Hawaii classic broncos. I would never place an order over the net when I could call and it didn't matter if all it was was a trac bar bushing the conversation would take an hour if time permitted. I would have my wife make orders when I could not. She would ask me what am I supposed to do? I would just tell her to call and ask for Mark Beck tell him who you are and the rest is as good as done.

Rest my friend I will miss you.

Wow, I am so sorry. My PM box has been almost full for a year now, I went through yesterday and deleted alot of messages from him when I had some questions awhile back. From the first email it was like we were best friends. He will be truely missed.

Sad news to hear Jim. As others have said he represented you and company well. We all feel as you do, that we have lost a member of our family. I'll be praying for comfort for your family and Marks as well as thanking God for shareing Mark with us.

This is a post I was hoping not to read. I had many long phone conversations with Mark and he was the main reason I called WH. I was really hoping he was beating this and was glad to hear he was going back to work. Too soon, too young, but driving a perfect Baja in Heaven.

Jim, I had no idea you had this on your mind when we talked a couple days ago about the Roundup. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend, and the loss to the bronco community as a whole. I talked to Mark on various occasions when I called to order parts, and met him at the Roundup in 2005. He will truly be missed. I hope he is already riding the trails up above. Prayers to his family as well.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mark. I read his posts here and was touched by his recent posts dealing with his illness. There have been several passings in my life because of cancer recently. It was really hard to hear about this one, even though I never met him. Mortality is a strange thing and I don't think that you can ever get "used" to the idea (at least I hope that I don't ever get "used" to this idea).

Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. This really sucks.

RIP.

Your smile and outgoing personality brightened every day at the LEBC Roundup and you'll surely be missed. You were one of a kind and now you're one of God's special angels. Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm gutted. He was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. After talking with him I'd think to myself that I needed to be a nicer person, be more like Mark.

wow, big bummer to read this thread heading.. everything that has been mentioned previously sums it up. it's a dark day for us bronco earthlings, and a big day for bronco guys in heaven. how cool is it though that now that he gets the oppertunity to hang out with guys like bill stroppe and swap stories!
i'm happy to say mark was my friend and i will miss him. the whole WH group will miss him dearly i'm sure and that is a tough seat to fill for their staff.
Godspeed buddy, glad you aren't hurting any longer.
we'll see you on the flip flop.
thoughts and prayers out to those in the inner circle.
Nick
