Please put me on the list for a full set (dash & door lock) of plain knobs for a '74. I'm also interested in the transfer case shift knob and something for the shift lever (auto) and turn signal. Let me know when you are ready to start taking payments.

Thanks

Scott

Things have been really busy over the holidays so it has taken me a little bit longer than expected to get everything ready. I've got all the materials and plan to make another run very soon. Hopefully I'll be ready to go within the next week, two weeks at the latest. I'll keep you guys posted.

Will you be able to make any shifter knobs? I need 4 of them bad. I'm doing all of my shifting with out any knobs right now because I want to buy yours instead of buying some other knobs and then switch to yours later. ;D

I have material for shifter knobs and should be ready to run them within the next few days. Things are really hectic this time of year but it is still my plan to get another mass buy set up before the end of the month. I know some guys are really anxious but I promise it will be worth the wait.

That would be awesome! Let me know when you are ready and I can send you the shift patterns for each knob. Thanks!

Are you planning on making knobs for twin shifters or just for standard t-case shifters?

The shifter knobs will be for any kind of shifter. I'm planning to offer a variety of engraved shift patterns and thread sizes to choose from. That way you can simply choose the specific shift pattern and thread size you need. I should have something to show very soon.

Duke,

I'm interested in a full set (dash knobs, door lock knobs, twin stick and shifter knobs). I've got time, as I'll be taking the tub off next month, and after that it'll be at least a couple of months. I'll be putting in a ZF and the OEM knob just slips on the splined end of the shifter. Do you have any ideas here? I was thinking I could cut threads over the splines, or weld in some type of insert, but those were just a couple of quick ideas. Like I said I doubt I'll need them before April (if all goes well, later if not).

Thanks,

Galen

Let me think about that one. I know my stock T-shifter doesn't have threads. Years ago I purchased an after market shifter knob that was threaded. It came with a collection of threaded plastic adapters in the package. One of them had the correct diameter and fit over my shifter rod. I simply glued the adapter in place and then screwed on the knob. It has worked perfectly ever since. It would be nice if I could find some of those little plastic adapters but I'm not sure who would sell something like that.

Duke,

I'm sorry,

I should have said.....a set of knobs for the twin stick (jb fab I believe), but am not sure about the ZF shifter. It slips (glues) on a set of splines, and maybe I could thread the (splined) end of the shifter, or cut the splines off and weld in a piece of threaded stock to take a billet shifter.

That might have made more sense. No biggie, we've got a few months to figure it out.

Thanks,

Galen

You haven't missed anything. I'm keeping a list of people who have expressed an interest and when everything is ready I'll fire off an email so they don't miss out. I was going to try and get a bunch of stuff done last week but wouldn't you know it, I went on a five mile run with my son and ended up twisting my ankle pretty bad. I decided to take a few days off since it was limping around like a 3-legged dog. Serves me right for thinking I could keep up with a 16 year-old. But I'm feeling much better now. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting so long. The holidays always end up being the busiest time of year.
