Oh, and half cab bench seat, can you give me a pic from the side?

Jack

Here's one. I can take more from other angles if needed. I know the model we've seen won't work but maybe the trail version shifter can be modified to fit in there?

I noticed this thread has turned into a MASS BUY...shouldn't this be posted as such? Might get alot more members involved...alot more than the 30 you're seeking. Just a thought,Chuck

Also, any pics yet of the new steely shifter?

Yeah, you're right. Let's split this out into it's own thread so it's more clear there's a Mass Buy potential.

IronBender or WH, let me know if you want me to break it out or if you want to. Thanks!

Orange Crush you are on the ball, I only Dropped that tranny off on Sunday!!
LOL
Jack, I will work with you if you will work with me......
I'll pimp the ZF all you want.....
Yeah, I know you're busy, it's not a big deal. I just wanted you to know I had it worked out, whenever we decide to go on it.
When you are ready, just send me a drawing of the blank...
If we can make this one work on the ZF, you can count me in for the buy Jack.
BTW, I want to see pics of what's been keeping you up nights!!
Class 11?

I think w/ a 2" body lift we can get it to work on the half cab.

Chris, is the ZF already installed?

The class 11 is finished and gone. I'm working on getting sponsors for the Moab Bronco Safari, putting a new motor in my Bronco and a couple of other things that will be very cool, can't say more yet.

Let me get this trail edition done and my Bronco running and we'll put our heads together on the shifter.

OK. I'm going to need some measurements so you'll get your shifter incomplete and I'll have to have something custom built for your application (not a problem).

I've never shifted with anything like one of these. Just a little curious how it "feels". Does the new shifter pivot side to allow for going from second to third? I guess it would have too. Looking at it, it seems like there would be a lot of slop when when shifting side to side because of it being all stretched out. I'm curious if everything still feels decent. For instance when shifting from second to third, can you still feel where you need to be at in order to avoid overshooting third and sliding over towards reverse. Just trying to visualize what it would be like. I don't know if there is really any way to answer that without actually trying one out though. Thanks, Morgan.

Well, I don't know if I'm the most unbiased opinion out there but... They're the coolest thing since sliced bread. Ha ha.

But really, the shifters are tight, there will be no more or less slop than there was before. As for the feel, it changes the movement from an up/down to a forward back. Like the difference between holding your arm straight down and raising it w/o bending your elbow to the movement of a bench press. Hard to explain. I don't miss many shifts in my tranny and it's as wollered out as, well, we'll just say it's really wollered out (will be rebuilding it before Moab).

If you're in the Sacramento area (I didn't pay attention to where you are from), feel free to PM me and arrange a time to come over and shift mine. That is until my new motor is put in then you will be stuck watching me shift it. :D
