Folks, I have taken it upon myself to purchase this blasphemous Bronco; in it's current state, should it fall into the wrong hands, particularly those of our children, they might be irreversibly corrupted. I sat deep in thought while drinking my coffee this morning after making the purchase, pondering the fate of our friend. I came to the conclusion that on this, the year of our 50th Anniversary, we would do great dishonor to the Bronco name should we not do everything in our power to resurrect this Bronco from the depths of the abyss.

You did a good thing for us all...however...this act shows that there is a market for these things. Hopefully I'm wrong...but we may see 10 more popup for sale now

Wow. but it stands to reason matchbox used to have the better looking bronco but the last few years they have gone to the hokey ones and hotwheels have the more correct versions. So now we know where they stand. Would definetly repaint that one.

For our children's sake, I hope that there is no market, nor clones to take it's place. We shall see... should another one rise, our frame-off restoration will stand as a symbol against them. Now if they'd just hurry up and ship it so we can get get this show on the road...

That has been my question for years. I have never met a single person who has anything good to say about any of the democrats. Where are all these people?

Remember the .gif of obama, hillary, michelle and Biden in a Bronco, partying? It was right after the election.

Seems easy enough to keep the market from taking off after purchase. Do a reastore/mod on it, document the build, then send the photos to the seller with the explanation that you appreciated him parting with the original vehicle, but felt it needed emediate attention in order to prevent it from wasting away.

We wouldn't crush or destroy a full sized EB for having that paint job, so why would we treat this little brother so differently. The little brothers are hard to come by as well you know.

I agree. While blowing it up, crushing it, or setting it on fire would be cool, it would be also be wasteful and unproductive. I thought it better to make a little mockery of it, have fun documenting the process, and make a subtle statement all at the same time

Call the build thread "Monica's Revenge"? or "Bill's Revenge" even...

First thing when you get it, mask off the wheels and tires, then spray it with the nearest can of spray paint no matter what color it is.
