whats the max width you can put on a uncut to still be able to tuck in? i want to use my 15x10 with 3.75 bs but know that it is highly unlikely that they will fit. I want to go with 10.5 wide tires

I would say that a 6-7" would be ideal;D & 8" & bigger is pushing it  :p w/ 3.75" backspacing... Several old threads about LUBR's on here, check 'em out for good info on lifts/what fits & what hits;) .Pierr.

I have been playing with this for a while and found that a 7" wheel worked best for me. I am running a BFG KM2 255-85-16, which is basically a 33.5"x10.5" They fit well and look good on the wheel. I think you might be able to go with an 8", but i would say no way on a 10".

I run 33x10.5 bfgMT's and they rub the front of the rear wheel opening when wheeling.

I found a deal on craigslist for a set of black steel wheels. I wanted 7'' wide and 4'' backspacing, but when I found the deal they were 8'' and 3.5''
I run a 30'' tire on them and they just barely tuck inside the uncut fender. 2'' body lit and a stock HD spring. I dont think you can make a 10'' wheel fit under a luber. Also a 9'' wide tire is best.

The factory steels with a 33 x 9:50 or 10:50 or 31 x 10:50 depending on the lift, fit nice, I wouldn't go any wider than a 7" wheel.

I agree, this is what I was going to run had I found a set of factory 16" steels. That is the perfect size tire for a 2.5" lift on a EB. The Gateway Buckshot in a p78x15 is very, very close to that size also, thats what I use for my off-road tire.

Copy Cat that's what I'm doing. I tried quite a few different wheels and found the stock wheels work best. I am going to be swapping over to some factory F150 aluminum 6" wide wheels this summer though.

i like the biggest tires with the least amount of lift hence the 36x14.5r15 on my 3.5" lift truck. just getting tired of it and my family doesnt like jumping up into it. It will be nicer on the trails anyway.

I have 15x7 wheels with 3.50 back space and 31x10.5 tires. They fit but I did roll the fenders in the rear and adjusted the leading edge of the front fender. I have no lift either. I also have a set of 15x8.5 slot wheels with 4inches of BS that I have been told should fit with the same tire. I'm not sure but I might mount a tire on at least one wheel to take a look.

I have 80s or 90s F150 wheels (factory chrome sawblade type)with 31x10.5x15 tires on my uncut Bronco and they work well. I was told the wheels are 7.5" wide. I have 2" of lift. I'm looking for some of the same vintage Bronco/F150 aluminum factory wheels- I think they should fit the same.
