It's another 100 miles north east. It's in Salem, MO, you would just follow I-44 up to Rolla and its about 30 miles from there.

It's only about 80 miles from my house, but I like SMORR a lot better.

no doubt!

SMOR is cool. i do luv it. as is Flat Nasty.

there both kinda the same size, if you hit em both hard you could see it all in a day as long as you didnt run into trouble. two days no problem.

over the last 5 or 6 years we've been tryin to make the best of our trips so we always try to hit a couple places, weather it be another park or a vacation spot along the way.

I cant wait to hit SMOR next week, but I'll always stop at Jadwin on the way home for a little Flat Nasty fun, and Jadwin Canoe rental will pick us up at the park for our annual river trip, I Luv the Current River. and no driving when you get of the river is a good thing. :p

It sounds like a great trip! We'll have to plan together next year, I wouldn't mind hitting them both and floating too. I know I'll keep that in mind for next years event.

As of right now there's only a 30% chance of rain on Friday and highs around 90 deg. for the weekend. A week out, things could still change....

Just a couple of days left! Bronco is done, I just have to change tires and wheels then load up. Anybody else need a vacation? I know it's only been a month since Moab, but I'm tired of work already!!!!

Well boys and girls, I just don't know if I am going to be ready or not for this weekend. If it's not one thing it's another trying to get Burnie trail ready. I am going to steal the power brake system from The Blue One (I have always referred to it that way so I guess that's the best name it will ever have) to see if it fixes my braking problems. If that doesn't work I am out of time and energy. I won't have time to put the brakes back in Blue so I may still be in the shop on the creeper this weekend. I'm trying!
