Metal tag on 68 Bronco front seat

Tearing down my bronco seats and found a metal tag attached to the springs?

That "is" neat but I don't know what it is though, lol,

That is a long-assed number for sure, but the C8ZB does pretty much indicate that it's a '68 part for a Ford. And not necessarily exclusive to a truck either, as the "Z" would have been a "T" if that had been the case.

Further proof they used a lot of Mustang seats until the Mustangs went to high back seats yes?
