No SH*T! This place is filled with "martyrs" that want to do everything three times just to say that they SAVED fifty cents! I know HOW to make more $ - but try as I will, I can't figger out a way to make more TIME!%)

/\/\/\ +1 They're the ones who are saying:
"I bought three different cheaper brands and sliced them up with a razor and I still need to slam my doors!"

Any updates from anyone who has tried the new Metro Seals? Do they fit? Is the quality ok? How do they compare to the old Metro seals?

I bought them about 3 months ago because of "old" posts here recommending them (yeah, I'm on year 6 of my build). When my painter had significant problems lining up the doors after installing I came back and found out they may have changed their formula and now they're not as soft as they use to be. Do a search and read some newer posts. We had to modify the rockers and doors to get them to close without slamming. Even after heating and keeping the doors closed on them for weeks.

I got them as well they suck. I also have east coast Nicks. The best hands down are the new carpenter seals. My doors actually shut:)

Curious what seals have been working well recently? I have a pair from WH and I can barley get it to shut on the first latch.
