Hey Midwest Bronco Fools! - BroncoJack and I are planning a very informal fall colors run around Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 19. Should be close hopefully on the local tree color turn by then. It has also been way too long since we've all gotten together for anything. This a rain or shine event and there is no "rain date". Broncos actually can get wet. They are trucks. It is okay. Little kids enjoy watching the wiper assembly. ;)

We are planning to meet up at my shop in Richmond, IL at around 9 a.m. (5513 George St., Richmond, IL). Richmond is right on the Illinois/Wisconsin border. A good midpoint for the Milwaukee/Madison Cheeseheads and the Chicago FIBs. ;D It's the perfect time of year for Broncos, so Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan folks, come on out too! Departure is planned for around 10 a.m. We can push it a little later maybe if it looks like it would make a difference for the out of state guys.

We'll wander up HWY H, HWY 50, and around Snake Rd. around Lake Geneva. Still kind of playing by ear, but lots of good rustic and low key country roads up this way.

Lake Geneva has plenty of activities and shops if the significant other comes along rather be shopping than cruisin' in your bouncy Bronco. We're thinking of grabbing a burger and beer later at Foley's Bar & Grill just west of Lake Geneva on 50 after we've had our fill of window time (probably 1 or so).

There is a ton of great camping in the area too, so make a weekend out of it and join us for the afternoon. Hope to see many new and old friends on October 19.

John

I have the route all picked out, probably a good 1 to 1-1/2 hour cruise.
Looks like about 10 Bronco's so far. Hope to have good weather.

Depending on the weather I may be there in my 74 if it stays nice, otherwise I might bring the 78 out.

10 am sharp departure. Parking spots in front of shop are a bit crowded, but should be spots on George St. or easier on Main St. See y’all soon. :)

Amazing well thought out route planned by Jack. The weather turned out better than predicted temperature wise. There was a F250 and at least 9 or 10 Broncos that were there for the cruise. I took some pictures of the Broncos and not much else. I missed some too. The Bronco community always has amazing people and that would have been a good picture along with some pictures on the route. I was driving and thought the last thing I would want to do is run into another Bronco.

Kassie and I had such an awesome time! As always, great people to hang with and cruising those twisting/turning roads was a blast! Thanks to Jack and John for putting this together. Definitely coming back next year.
