Hi All,

I thought I would bring this thread back to the top in hopes that someone may have additional vintage pics to share.

So cool, I just love this thread, Jeff. Well, I'll add some photos here if I can.

One of the Broncos you hung around back then is the "Pony", Stroppe's 2wd racer that debuted at the '70 Mint, and was Parnelli's first winning steed at the 1970 Baja 500 where he and Bill Stroppe took the overall win. Todd Z and I were able to free it up from it's longtime home in an oklahoma museum where it had been off display for the last 8-10 years. More info on another thread I think we need to make, but here's a vintage shot you posted, plus a late 70s shot, and one modern day shot of where it currently resides. (it got re-glassed to '80 Bronco pieces, but the EB frame and front suspension are as was raced originally.

Here's another fun shot, tho not vintage. This one was put together with the help of my friend Tiger and his assistant Ken last April when I was in Los Angeles headed to the Mint 400 with Colt. Had to recreate a photo from the past of the '69 Mexican 1000 winner and Colt as they originally posed as they were readied for the 1969 Mexican 1000. Amazing they still exist in such good shape.

Hey Andrew,

Great pics. Thanks for posting them.

So much history and so many memories.

It's always good to hear about what's going on with you.
