I'm going to run it again like before: http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129067
4 vehicles in our group so far.
For anyone interested in joining up, we're meeting Thurs night, 5/28 near the Avi Casino, at the trail head on the west side of the Colorado River, which is right about the 7 mile marker north of the CA/NV border on River Road (which turns into Needles Hwy)
We'll start the next morning and end up in Afton Canyon Saturday Afternoon or Sunday depending on how many times we stop.
It's an easy trip to make, and very cool scenery with a lot of history, but you need to bring everything with you required for the trip as there are no places to stop without taking a 50 mile detour - gas for 150 miles+, ice, food, and most important - plenty of WATER - twice as much as you think you'll need. And, of course, you'll be spending 3 nights on the trail.
