I just recieved a (FREE ) Mopar ac compressor from a 1973 Dodge Charger.
Has anybody converted one of these to a air compressor ? It's a twin cylinder
model.

The York can be mounted horizontal or vertical for hood clearance. I would check with an ac shop and see if you can mount the Mopar on its side to clear the hood.

I will check the type as soon as I get home from work. If it is are there any special fittings that I should start hunting for?
