Ok I have 78 bronco disc stuff. I also have the chevy backing plates and spindles. If you had a choice which one would you do?
Next question is which one is cheaper to do?

Thanks Pat;D

I did the Ford this summer and it was easy. Never did the Chevy so don't know how easy it is but I'm told it's easy too. Think the Chevy requires some grinding here and there to work. I know for sure the big Bronco stuff is direct bolt on.

I reused my stock 74 locking hubs, H-block and durn/drum M/C. I already had the stock power booster and bracket hooked up with my drum/drum setup.

As for cost, I would have to price out the parts needed at the local parts store or form one of the venders and see which was cheaper.

Street rig Chevy stuff if you plan on wheeling and breaking front axles Ford stuff. The Ford swap gives you more room to pull broken front axles out.

Given a choice, I would do Ford for the reason noted above and the fact that you have larger T-bird/LTD caliper options should you need/want them...this is assuming you have a D44. Otherwise, Chevy is your only option if you have a D30.
