Yes I have heard that as well. Hope this helps someone get stuff done.does thinking about doing something on the bronco count? j/k this thread is actually helping. they say written goals or accomplished at a greater percentage than spoken goals just saying...........
Way to goIt's been sitting here ignored far too long again. Lots of important reasons getting in the way, but still it shouldn't be sitting. This sounds like a good idea. I'll jump in.
Here's the top of the list to get it driveable:
- New registration. (I put the sticker on yesterday)
- Fire it up to keep it running. It's been a couple of months.
- Install the windshield.
- Install a battery hold down & check the cables.
- Bolt down the seats.
- Install belts.
- Install mirrors.
- Install bumpers.
- Install hood pins.
- Fire extinguisher.
- Drive it around the block. See if it still needs re-gearing just to drive even after the np435 swap. Possibly re-gear.
- Clean up the rats nest wiring & install a new fuse box.
- Work out fan details to replace the small electric fan that mickey mouse hard wires directly to the battery currently.
- Build & install 4x4x2 steering box.
- Work out the power steering pump & york pump bracketry.
- Complete power steering hoses & all.
- Clean up & build floor trim panels around shifter area.
- Quieter cleaner exhaust. It is law enforcement attracting loud currently.
- Install wipers.
Down the road:
- Prime it all one color.
- Install the new flares.
- Raise the scoop a little. It's too low after the 1" body lift.
- Complete the hood around the scoop.
- Rims & tires.
- Swap motors.
- Re-gear for trail use if not done earlier for driveability.
- Complete OBA plumbing & tank.
- Resolve window details. Install windows or remove frames.
- Body work & paint.
- Bedliner.
- Install soft top.
- Recover seats.
- Door & bed panels.
- Test & repair heater as needed.
- Glove box.
- Radio/speakers.
Wow. Just having a list to focus on is going to help. Thanks.

cleaning the shop does help with motivation

- Bend the twinsticks to avoid interference with the shifter.
