I bought a Mallory electric fuel pump, external regulator and pressure gauge. I was considering making a shield and mounting the pump on the inside frame rail. The regulator and gauge will be in the engine compt. Anyone have any other ideas or pics of how you did it on your broncos?

FWIW, I mounted my Carter pump on the inside of the frame, just above the rear differential. Most of those low pressure pumps like to push, not suck. So they recommend mounting close to the tank.

I mounted my mallory fuel pump on the frame where the front leaf spring mount is located. This places the fuel pump lower than if you mounted it right next to the tank, and gives room to mount a fuel filter/accumulator in-between the fuel pump and the tank. Also the leaf spring mount aids in protecting the fuel pump from getting bashed up by rocks, something I didn't want happening with pressurized fuel.

I mounted my delco low pressure pump on the driverside framerail about a foot from the electrical tank switch w/ return, all of which starts inline with the axle location forward, after the fuel pump I have a larger 3/8 cylinder type fuel filter. No problems and it is out of the way.

I used the stock 87 F150 mounting bracket inside the frame.... I tack welded it to the frame, but you could take the pump off.

I just realized you may not be running EFI.. If not disregard...

I mounted my carter pump on the frame halfway between the rear tank and aux tank been there for close to 30 years with no problems. Although after my lift the stock E brake cable pulled one of the electrical connectors off the pump so I had to wire the e brake cable out of the way. Still need to get extended ones one of these days.

I like the way thats mounted. Kinda the way I been thinking about mounting mine. I should have my fuel cell supports done in the next day or 2. Ill work on mounting my pump then.
Do you have a bracket holding the filter?

EFI related:
The stock Ford pump and if I recall right the large filters as well already have brackets with them.

I run an Airtex E2000 which doesn't include a bracket. I used the stock 302 coil bracket that was on the 302 I pulled out and mounted it to the inside of the frame originally. When I swapped a few things around to fit my doubler in I positioned it on top of thr frame which is where it is now. I just run plastic see through filters inline without any mounts. (One before and one after my fuel pump)
