Mustang based EFI relay question

I am trying to chase down a battery drain. As soon as hook up the battery I hear a "click" by the computer. I narrowed the fairly loud click to a single relay. I do not see any markings other than a Ford logo.

Should this relay click as soon as power is connected? What is this relay for? If it needs replacement, part number or who sells them?

Really good pictures but need to know a little more about where it's located and possibly where it goes. Standard relay, parts houses all have cheap China junk, pic-n-pull or Ford.

Thanks for the information and offer, I appreciate it. I stopped by a friend's place and found one on an old Mustang harness, after swapping it the click when the battery is connected is gone.

Probably worth hunting up a few for spares, while you can still find original parts.

Hate to need to rely on untrustworthy cheap Chinese crap.

I replaced mine with a new one from a parts store when I thought it had gone bad a few years ago. The new one never worked right (cheap import) so I did what others have recommended - strip OEM ones from harnesses in the junkyard. I have quite a few spares now.

I always replace the Ford non standard type relays with standard Bosch relays ( Ford OEM from the junk yard) when reworking a harness, but for some reason I keep the non standard one in my trail kit, gave 2 away in past years.

I wanted to publicly thank Ourobos. He was nice enough to send me a few spares and wouldn't take anything in return. I really appreciate his generosity, the people make this site great.
