Hi and welcome to CB, I still feel like a newbie here

When I bought my truck it came with 3.5" SL and 2" BL and 35" tires, Rockers and fenders cut,( love the stance ) all the aesthetics were done, but needed Maintenance

this is the first thing I tackled was the steering, it was finished, I replaced the Y to a T-style + adjustable track bar rebuilt the steering box and put in 7 degree bushings, and the truck drives great 2 finger steering.....

still need to re gear, as 35's with 3:50 gear ratio turns the truck into a paper weight..

nice truck man! I love the color scheme and I LOVE that winch bumper set up. Did you do that yourself? Do you have a 4x4x2 steering box on there or did you simply rebuild the original box? Wheel it at all?

Yours looks exactly like mine but with better colors I think. Love it.

Is wild horse the best lift to go with or are there other brands I should be looking into? I hate the fact that a 2.5 sl and a 3.5 sl are both pretty much the same price. Little over $700

Welcome to CB.

I have a 77 with a WH 2 1/2" Suspension lift and a WH 1" Body Lift. As pictured there are 285x75x17s on 17x8 1/2" wheels. This tire size (Measured 33 1/4" on truck) is just under the 35s (Some are 33 1/2") height and a little more narrow.

I chose to go with 4.56 gears with an AOD.

You can run 33s with no lift If you trim the front fenders a little at the bottom corners
