Mystery Washer Help

This oval plastic washer was sitting on the driver’s side floor board today under the emergency brake pedal. No clue where it came from, and I haven’t messed with anything under there in a while…

Any ideas?

It goes between the steering column U bracket mount & the body .

I must have missed this when I rebuilt my column over a year ago!

Heading into the garage now to make sure the bolt didn’t back out or something…

Bolts tight. Of course, washers are missing from both sides but only one magically appeared…

I assume these are just for vibration damping? It’s been fine, so I don’t think I’ll go crazy trying to find replacement washers?
