Well, Project Go Vols is well underway. It is currently gutted and stripped. I wanted to thank everyone who replied to the "Favorite Bronco Color" thread. It seems that green got alot of votes for favorite color. I never thougth of painting one green, but after listening to everyone I did some looking around and found one hellofafine Green.
So in honor of my fellow Bronco Brotherhood, Project Vols will be green. I'm not going to say what color green yet, I want it to be a surprise. ;D The new project will is a 73 Bronco Ranger/Sport, auto, front disc w/hydroboost, PS, vintage air, 3.5 lift and basically new everything - all the interior, wheels, paint, shocks, windshield, stereo, rhino lined, undercoated, powder coated, tilt wheel, and a few other goodies , and I'm even thinking about power windows and door locks w/ keyless entry. I'll keep ya'll updated. I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of September ;D
And Yes, it will be for sale.

Looking good! I recently saw a very dark green EB with peanut-butter leather interior (aftermarket seats) that looked REALLY REALLY good (and I'm not a green fan).

Just something to think about...

I missed out on the original thread about the colors.

My 2¢ on green; go with a lime green. It is old school and really cool. See pic.

      Well tbrend, you must be psychic, thanks for ruinning the surprise. ;D That actually is the color I'm going to paint it. I am going to use a silver base under it to give it more pop and maybe alittle more pearl, but that will be color. Tbrend - I hope you have one of those flashing tarrot card signs hanging outside your living room window - could be a second job. I painted a test panel on the bronco last week and that color looked awesome on it.

Awesome. I have been called a "warlock" before.

I can't wait to see it.

I keep telling my wife I would love to see a Bronco like that. Are you going to accent the trim in white (fender flares, top, grill)?

Throw up a pic of the test panel!

Project GO VOLS is going to be GREEN?!?! As a fellow Tennesseean, YOU'RE FIRED. Why not just call it Project Go Marshall?

I must agree a project with the name Go Vols it needs to be Orange. I'm a Bama fan and I know that.. I am thinking of painting my 76 Crimson and white. ;D

I called it project Vols because it was white with TN orange flares and top with a Vols tire cover. I probably do need to change the project name to keep down confusion in the future. I try to think of a new name - let me know if you have any suggestion.
Tbrend - yes the flares and top will be Cadillac white diamond 3 stage paint. I think I took a couple pics of the test panel - if I can find them I'll post it later toni.ght
