I am looking for under hood pics with no inner fenders and where you mounted stuff at. I narrowed my front and lost all the inner metal and now I am trying to get ideas on where to put everything. Thanks.

Not sure if these pics help or not. I have a tube front clip. I made a shelf for the battery. I mounted the coil on the dash. I have a pices of tubing running the length of the fender that I mount some small stuff to. Other than that I dont have much else mounted.

I don't have any pics but on my 68 I used an optima red top and mounted it on its side on the trans tunnel under the dash. All the rest of the stuff under the hood was relocated on the firewall inside the truck. Coil, MSD ignition, Starter relay etc. It made for an ultra clean and dry location. Plus only the Alt wires, Dist wires and the coil wire went into the eng compartment. I also ran one Trailer wire cable with six conductors down the left fender to take care of headlights, turn signal, running lights.

I'll add some pics... took the turn signals out and narrowed the grill/hood. Tubed front cliip. I don't know if I have any pics online to steal right now but I KNOW I have more at home since completed. I made a bracket off of my pass. shock hoop that holds the air filter and coil. The battery is in the pass. side cowl where the heater used to be. I got as much stuff on my firewall as possible (BP Sensor, solenoid, etc.) and my fuses & relays in the glove box. I also bent some sheet metal to wrap under the filter to keep it clean, or cleaner.

Nice air cleaner scoop!

I've been thinking about hacking the inners out and putting some chicken wire in there or something to try and keep all of the mud off the motor.

Shamu, What do you have on the sides of your hood.

Home Depot Alum. strips. The body to the front inner cage is kinda out of wack. And the chalk line lied on the cuts.
