does anyone know a decent place to rechrome a set of bumperettes and possibly a bumper that is not out of this world. the local guys want 75 per piece for the bumperettes and 350 for the bumper. thanks, 70s chopper
There is a place here in Olathe Kansas that does rechroming. The price you are getting from those guys is probably close to what these weanies will want. Let me know later I can get the phone number for you.
Those aren't bad prices. Have you heard good things about the chrome job the guy does. There can be difference in quality. If you don't get a good job done it will start pitting right away and just look like a cheap stock job.
You could just buy a new bumber but if you want a real quality chrome job I would get the one you have redone for the extra bucks if its not to rusted out. I guess it all depends on if you want it to look like a show vehicle or just want it to look ok.
;D ;D ;D Go to your loco body shop and see who dose there rechrome. A bumper shop gets about 100.00 for a rechrome bumper. as for the horns I dont now good luck. %) %) %) Bill %)
