I'm tired of the 2150 and its worn butterfly shaft causing me idles that are approximate at best. Its a crap shoot between 650 and 1100 RPM and any stop light even with heavy duty return springs. SO...I would like to put on a Holley 2-bbl from Summit but have some questions before I buy one for my stock '75 302:

1. 350 or 500 cfm. Summit lists both, but with a completely stock 302, which is correct?

2. Is is a direct bolt on? The base of the 2150 looks similar to a holley 2-bbl, but the Ford base plate has to cover the emissions port in the manifold.

3. Will the throttle and kickdown linkage hook directly up? They come with Kickdown and universal linkage, so it looks to me like it will.

4. Will my Air Cleaner fit under the hood? I have a chrome low profle open element from JBG and it just barely touches the hood with the 2150.

5. Are stock jets sufficient? I know they come somewhat dialed in, but if I should do an immediate change, what jet size do I need to have on hand? Again, completely stock '75 302

Thanks everyone!! Love the board and more importanty, my Bronco!!

I've got a 4412 which is 500 cfm and like on my stock motor.

Are you keeping you emissions? I didn't it, it works without. I might have added some spacers, I can look.

3. Will the throttle and kickdown linkage hook directly up? They come with Kickdown and universal linkage, so it looks to me like it will. Yep, mine did no problem.

Stock cleaner will work, I've also used a Edelbrock Pro Flo which drops down, and a 6 inch tiny filter. It's tight, but I bet your low profile will work.

Didn't mess with my jets. I think the 4412 comes somewhat dialed in.

Hope this helps. Fairly reliable street carb. Offroad is moderate.

Cut and flared my own from brake/fuel line stock.

Carb was always on there, so it has always been pretty crummy ;)

Which linkage? Not sure what has a ball stud on mine? Might be something different

Was your Coil in the way?? I almost have mine ready to go, but I cant get the fuel inlet done since the coil is in the way of the fuel inlet. I hate the side hung part of the Holley!!!!

Yeah, not much room there. I moved mine along with the bracket in front of the freeze plug on the driver's side cylinder head. Stole the idea from someone at a Mustang show. I'd take a picture of mine, but the heads are off right now  See ya at Attica when I get it going again.
