Need advice on moving 77 parts EB

I am considering buying a 77 for parts. It is missing everything from the knuckles out on the front end. The axles are still there and the rear end is intact with tires on. How can I move this thing? I was thinking about raising the front end (with a tractor and boom) and then backing my trailer under it. But then I would have problems getting it off the trailer since I do not have a tractor (the guy I am buying it from has a tractor). Any advice on this? I have left over parts from my drum brakes when I did the ch*vy conversion but my drums came off of a D30 and I do not have the retaining nuts that holds everything on. How can I move this thing?

Find one of those worthless dana 30's and bolt in in for the move. They can be had very cheap and if you really think about it you don't need to hook up drive shaft, shocks, or even the steering for that matter. Maybe someone down your way will loan you a d30. :) good luck

rent one of those car dollies and sit the front in on it. When home use jacks to raise front end - pull car dolly out.

If you have a home picked out for it in your yard, just hire a tow truck and be done with it.. no sence putting time/money/parts into something your just gonna rip apart.

***DANGEROUS REDNECK ENGINEERING***

Get current owner to help put truck on trailer. Get truck to appropriate place in yard/garage. Put roller jack under front of truck, tie rear of truck to something solid (tree, boat anchor, whatever). Slowly drive trailer out from under truck. Be sure to set beer down and tell buddy, "Watch this!" beforehand, to give buddy great story to tell later.;D

Get 2 of those wheel dollies that are used to push a car around in a shop and place under each knuckle.

lol

i moved a mustang body, one with no rearend and no front end under it.... two large 4x4's and a good jack....jack up the front end place two "redneck concrete blocks" under each side out side the trailer width, same in rear. ...then back the trailer under the body, reverse proceedure to remove. Worked for me!...would be a lot easier with 2 jacks but thats up to you ;D ..yea i know, its kinda dangerous, but heck it worked, and didnt cost me a ton of money!

[set beer down and tell buddy, "Watch this!"
the correct phrase is: " hey ya'll watch this "

kind of like the old joke, whats the last thing the red neck said before he died? "hey ya'll watch this"

One other point, the redneck would never set his beer down.;)
