I have a 69EB with a 9 inch small bearing 350 open that I just totaled. I would like to convert to a "complete" big bearing with 31 spline, posi-trac and possibly disc brakes. Can you all give me some insights on how much this might cost with/without disc brakes. And reputable soures I might purchase one from. I live in Northern CA but can have it shipped. Thanks in advance for your help!

being you live in cali, i'd check into Currie, or maybe ron's rear ends. i think he's out that way. shipping something that heavy from the east coast might get spendy. could also try mike at core. i think he's about half way across.
price off top of my head, i'd guess with discs, 1200-1400ish.
shop around, figure out what you want exactly to get a comprable price from everyone, go from there.

I dont know much but I bought a 9 inch with 409 gears and a miny spool for 200 off the classic bronco parts section it is the 28 spline and a small bearing but ive seen no reason for bigger ive yet to have a problem with the rear axle, but ive broke the front 4 times. nothing was wrong with the 9 inch that was in but it was cheaper to buy one with the gears i was changing to and it had a miny spool also. i am very rough on my bronco, but i could be wrong.

Well, "Northern California" doesn't tell me much, but I had mine done by Sierra Bronco in Turlock. Good prices, great quality. Tell him Jack Covert sent you, his name is Ron Boggs.

-Jack
