I purchased the heater hose kit from TBP or WH, can't remember. Anyhow, seems for the hookup the smaller hose meant to hook up to the outside line of the heater radiator seems short. This is the hose that has the valve selecot connected to it. Looking at it, I could make it look much cleaner if I was able to switch the lines. Here is what I need to know...

Can I put the smaller line with the selector valve that connects to the top of the intake on the inside line (right side) of the heater radiator and the longer hose to the outside line (left side) that goes straight to the water pump. My buddies say yes but it makes me nervous. I get their point about a closed loop system but something seems strange about switching it around due to the water pump. Wouldn't there be an issue with flow? Isn't the radiator built ot run in only one direction or not? What about air bleeding? I just need to know if my worries are warranted or if switching them would be ok. If it is ok, I could save some money, if not loks like I need to figure out another heater hose.

I have the valve on the right (driver) side of the heater and the left (passenger) hose runs directly to the water pump. No problems.
I also have a BC Bronco heater shut off valve on the same hose with the pull valve so I can truly stop all coolant flow in the summer time.
