Need help installing nex aux tank.

My old one reportedly leaked. I never tried it and just ordered a new kit. But now that I am under it there is a outlet that doesn't have a connecting tube. What and where does that outlet do and go?

One tube is the pick up . one is the vent. The vent usually goes to the evap canister

Does a67 have that canister?

I'm not sure, I'm no guru. But you can still vent it to atmosphere.

Me neither, but I believe the canisters showed up in the early '70s with stricter Fed regulations. My '69 does not have one so I capped the fitting on a new sending unit I just installed to reduce the fumes problem.
